RSPCA Adoption Experience & Education Redesign

Educating users with a positive UI experience!

The Problem

The RSPCA’s mission statement “To prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection” is not supported by their current website.

Based on our user research, heuristic evaluation, and stakeholder information, we need to make the adoption process informative. As the site’s current user experience is deterring users with overwhelming text and losing the opportunity to educate the public.

Our Solution

Enhancing the presentation of information to the users through gamification and the creation of infographics to advise of pet’s needs. Allowing users to take educational material onboard, to help them make an informed decision before adopting.

My Role

In this project, I worked with the team researching, building, and testing the prototype’s 3 mobile iterations.

Using my experience with interactive education methods, personally developed the infographics that reduce the text-heavy pet profile pages and rephrased dull adoption forms into an informative quiz that engaged and educated the user.
